Hurricane Earl is on his way! We went to Walmart nice and early this morning in hopes of beating the crowds. Well thank goodness we did because they had sold out of water and had just gotten a shipment in! In addition to what we have in the house here is our hurricane kit so far. We also have a charcoal grill which might come in handy. Some of these things might sound strange but were on the list we were handed while walking into Walmart (yes they were handing out lists!!)
- 3 cans of fruit
- 3 jars of fruit
- 6 cans of soup
- 3 boxes granola bars
- 1 200' aluminum foil
- 1 box of freezer bags
- 1 box of 78 kitchen garbage bags
- 3 cans of snacks for E
- 2 large cans of Ravioli
- 2 cans of bug spray
- 2 loafs of bread
- 1 jar of peanut butter
- 1 box of pop tarts
- 9 packs of salmon
- 11 packs of tuna
- 3 gallons of water
- 2- 2.5 gallon containers of water
- 1 propane lantern with 2 propane tanks
I'm making a list of what else we might need in preparation of tomorrow. Being about 30 minutes from the coast we are praying that the rain and wind won't be to awful. The flooding is what we have to watch out for. No worries though friends or family!!
Emmett adores his daddy! Every time Joe tries to get ready for work E is right there helping dad. Here are my loves :)
